I just got back from the best weekend of my life, celebrating me as a soon to be bride and i'm here to share with you everything we did! I get it, planning a bachelorette can be fun and stressful - there are so many decision to make, so I hope this guide helps your planning process and gives you ideas!
Here is my itinerary, themes and links (below this I will share tips for your own planning!)
Before going into the weekend, I took lots of time to come up with a vision and research to bring it to life. Here is what I sent my girls on what I wanted this weekend to look and feel like! Plus some theme days that always make it more fun :)
I made it on canva and highly recommend, it kept it organized and easy to execute the vision!
Airbnb: this house was a gem and was more than what we could have ever wanted! The decor was on point, amenities allowed us to have chill + party days at home, plenty of beds, space, a gorgeous kitchen and great backyard!
Itinerary + Daily Activities:
DAY 1: Travel Day + Picnic ✈️ 🧺 🌅
We settled into the airbnb, decorated the house, gave my girls their gift bags (click here to see what I got them) and hung out by the pool. Then we ordered pizza and had ourselves a picnic during sunset on the beach! This was perfect chill yet fun way to kick off the trip post traveling.
DAY 2: Boat Day🚤🐬
The boat was one of the highlights of the trip and something i'd recommend doing if you're in the area or doing a beach style bachelorette. We went with Bach Boats and they were great, the captain was fun, we were able to see dolphins (they put on a show for us) and then swam and chilled at honeymoon island! Such a fun time
We then went to dinner at Palm Pavilion which is on the beach and saw the sun set :)
DAY 3: Brunch, Pool, Fancy Dinner & Dancing in town 🥂👙💃🪩
Nothing is more fun then bringing slumber party vibes back - we started with a bridal brunch at the house all in our jammies and it felt like old times! We then hung out at the house during the day, swam in the pool, played games, did Bridal Jeopardy (click here to make your own) and just had ourselves an amazing day at the house!
We then dressed up in our tequila sunset theme colors (pink, orange, yellow) and had dinner by the water, we went to Marina Cantina which is a great Mexican tequila bar! They had a DJ on the rooftop that got the night started and then we made our way over to Waves at Shepards which is split in 2 sections. One is an outside stage with live music and the other is an inside club - this is where we spent the entire night dancing to throw back music!
DAY 4: Beach Day + Bonfire 🏝️🔥
Our final full day was all about relaxation; we went for a walk around the neighborhood, hung out in the pool and then made our way to the beach. There are so many beach options in this area - we ended up at Indian Rocks Beach which was quiet and cute. We found the cutest coffee / surf shop on our way called Grove Surf Cafe.
We ended the night grilling, and having a bonfire at the house. Got to reminisce on old times, the weekend and end the trip perfectly!
Overall, this was the perfect weekend and more than what I could have asked for or expected. I'm so glad I chose this location, found the perfect house and had a blend of low key vibes mixed with relaxing in the sun and party!
Watch my YouTube Vlog of the whole weekend to see it all come to life below :)
If you are planning a trip - here are some of my tips! 👇🏼
FIRST: Decide on the location & the vibe!
This is important, ask the bride the vibe she is going for and places to match it!
I chose Clearwater (which i'm soo glad I did) it's a blend of beach vibes, relaxation but also plenty of opportunities to party and celebrate! Its a central location with Tampa, St. Pete and the Islands all within 20-30 minutes making it doable.
SECOND: get a house that provides what you want + need
There are so many airbnb options, some that are perfectly curated for big groups even bach / bachelorette parties. Get yourself one of these houses, even if it costs a little more it will be worth it in the long run. These houses have all the necessities you need, are usually in good locations and give you the space to chill at the house and not need to go out and about the whole time (if thats the vibe you're wanting)
THREE: plan a list of activities you want to do + see and make RESERVATIONS
The last thing you want to do is stress or not be able to do the things you planned. Make your trip seamless with reservations and an itinerary with back up options!
FOUR: be mindful of costs + budget
Bachelorettes can get expensive, so make sure you are all in agreement with budget and find ways to be cost effective. We did this by getting a house that had a big kitchen, bought groceries and cooked breakfast and lunches. We also got a house that felt fun to hang out at all day with many things to do!
** we used the app Splitwise to put all our expenses in that does the math for you for your whole group!
FIVE: have fun & be safe!
Bach parties can get wild, enjoy your time but stick with your group!
